September

Hard to believe, but this month is almost over! I am still around, but have had limited access to the internet. My neighbours did make a small appearance for about one night so there was internet for a brief moment, but of course that was the weekend that I was out of town, so I didn't get to use it! By the time I got back 2 days later, they were gone again. I am really curious as to where they are and what they are doing? How can they afford to be gone for like, 3 months??? I am insanely curious....

The good news is that there is now a phone at the apartment, which means that I can get my own internet and not have to rely on my flight neighbours. We called, and it should be up and running in the next 7 to 30 days. What kind of time frame is that? So typically Italian!

Otherwise all is well. I have 24 kids in my third grade class.....5 new kids from last year!....so I am definitely busy during the day repeating myself 100 times and running around trying to check everyone's work. But the kids really are great. It is nice to have the same class as last year.

Gotta go. Lunch over. Class coming in.

7-30days - oh christ, that is SOOO Italian! lol.

That's really great that you have most of the same kids. It sure cuts down on the 'getting to know them' stuff that usually takes up so much time at the beginning of the school year. You can just get down to it! Do you keep moving with your grade until they graduate?

Good to hear from you and happy you're doing well. Check out the kids parents and see if any of them work for the phone company.

You have to love Italian organisation - if you can find any.

Seven to thirty days? Sounds like service that you get from Bell.

Did your kids do anything special to welcome you back?
